September 24, 2011 – The rooms of the Biblioteca Ambrosiana in Milan host the presentation of the creative partnership Boglioli + kolor. Near to the «Atlantic Codex» of Leonardo, journalists and guests could visit an aisle covered with over 1100 Boglioli jackets and appreciate the fruit of this new collaboration: two models of jackets made of garment-dyed cashmere and high-quality cotton.
Boglioli, whose roots lie in the refined Italian tailoring and in the continuous search for innovative fabrics and treatments, and Kolor, a Japanese brand renowned for his deconstructed and conceptual design, have joined forces to create an excellent product that could meet the sophisticated Asiatic esthetic principles maintaining the high quality of materials typical of the Italian brand.
Already in an embryonic stage before the disastrous earthquake of Japan in March 2011, Boglioli + kolor project then assumed charitable purposes: the proceeds of the sale of the jackets will be donated to Save the Children Japan to support the children affected by the earthquake on the Pacific coast of Tohoku.
Boglioli and kolor pray for a prompt recovery of the disaster area.
