BOGLIOLI

Pitti Immagine

The new Boglioli collection will be presented in a post industrial context amongst “Pitti Uomo” which will be held in Florence the 13th of January.

The big Boglioli stand will be located on a platform raised from the ground level to which you can gain access through two stairways positioned symmetrically along the perimeter of the stand .

An elaborate industrial American structure, in iron and wood, dated back to the 40s incorporates and articulates the exposition of the A/W 2009-2010 season garments. With a style that recalls the libraries of Charles Eames, Charlotte Perriand and Jean Prouvè, the structure is embellished with images of a contemporary photography master .

The images alternate with the garments and frame the collection itself. The installation will continue in the Boglioli showroom in Milan: a gallery-area, which with its 13 windows facing on the street, perfectly suits the alliance formed by fashion and art.

The apparent linearity of the stand project is contradicted by an innovative and flamboyant  staging created by the ASQ studio and commissioned to the studio’s  artistic division by the Brescia based fashion group.

This staging is mainly characterized by the major presence of products, compared to the previous projects, which were  qualified instead by a pure artistic installation; the Boglioli jacket is immediately visible, tangible: but there again amongst the alchemy of cuts, fabrics and colours lays the success of a product which in a few years has known how to become a “must”.
